Wrinkle Treatment

Wrinkle Treatment
A 2008 survey by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery reveals that patients in their 50s and 60s ranked youthful-looking skin as the number-one feature they find attractive in others. It also indicated that respondents in their 20s, 40s, 50s and 60s were very concerned about the appearance of their faces.

With so much emphasis on facial beauty, treatment for periorbital and perioral wrinkles is in demand now more than ever. And Palomar® fractional ablative laser treatments provide you with a cost-effective solution for satisfying client demand for wrinkle treatment that requires minimal recovery time with dramatic, long-lasting results.

Unlike traditional CO2 treatment, which is painful and requires extensive downtime, fractional ablative wrinkle treatment from Palomar uses pulses of laser light that deliver excellent long-term results in just one simple treatment. Our laser light penetrates skin to just the right depth and with just the right level of heat to evoke a dramatic healing response that promotes collagen production, diminishing the appearance of fine lines around the eyes and mouth. It's wrinkle treatment that's easy on you and your clients.

How Laser Wrinkle Treatment Works

Periorbital and perioral wrinkle treatment with Palomar uses a fractional ablative laser to generate areas of ablation bordered by residual layers of tissue coagulation, which are then surrounded by healthy tissue. The healthy tissue surrounding the areas permit rapid reepithelialization of the epidermis in as little as 12 hours.

The Lux2940 features two treatment options: short pulse ablative option or long pulse for thermal effect. You control the amount of coagulation, column diameter and depth of skin ablation. Narrow fractional columns reepithelialize within one day for a rapid recovery.

Benefits:

 • One treatment with as little as two days of recovery time
 • Excellent improvement in appearance of wrinkles
 • Minimal treatment discomfort compared to fractional or full-surface CO2 resurfacing treatments
